SB Nation Officially Opposes SOPA - From Our Editors - SBNation.com
Rowbots/Purple Rowbians/Whatever we call ourselves these days -
As you all know, especially if you read the Community Guidelines, Purple Row is a staunchly apolitical site. I've found, in my experience, that political discussions tend to bring nothing but discord and frustration, so we've avoided it completely.
That said, SOPA is something that could completely derail the work that us here at Purple Row, SB Nation Denver, and the rest of the SB Nation Network do.
So the position of our uppers at SB Nation (mine, Rox Girl's, Russ', all of ours) is that we officially oppose SOPA.

I’ve been hearing about SOPA/PIPA for quite some time since it affects basically everyone in both of my fields, film and web media. It is truly a bipartisan issue, as you find staunch support and opposition to these on both sides of the aisle. The biggest connecting factor is how connected to the mainstream creative industries they are.

I just think this is one of the dumbest ideas ever.
Why would you take away something that has helped this country so much? People like this have their heads up their asses so far, that their head tries to come back out the neck area. This is why I don’t watch the news anymore. Its all politics. I hate hearing and seeing the crap about this one said that, this one said this. I don’t care. Take yourself, flip yourself inside out and go take a flying leap off the Royal Gorge bridge. That way, we don’t have to worry about your stupidness anymore.

Self taught and falling in love with this game is very easy to do, you can never hate it, and that is something that not one person can take away from anybody. The love of baseball and OUR COLORADO ROCKIES.
