With 100 losses avoided, there's nothing left to play for between these two teams but pride.
Jhoulys Chacin was a good representative of the Rockies early in the year. There were solid expectations, but he got lit up like a tire fire and ultimately proved to be injured. His return since August, while not sparkling, has been encouraging nonetheless. Here's an important note: Chacin has not allowed more than one earned run in any road start since returning from the disabled list.
Chacin will hope for more of the same to end his season on a somewhat sweeter chord, while the "Rockies" lineup will try to repeat two prior poundings of Patrick Corbin at Coors Field in his home park.
