The Rockies will have eight players from the organization, of various talent levels and prospect pedigrees, representing the team in Arizona Fall League play, which begins on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
Tuesday, Oct. 9 marks the start of the 2012 Arizona Fall League campaign, which will run mid-November and will feature some of the best young talent in professional baseball.
Eight Colorado Rockies prospects -- as well as farmhands from the Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays and Washington Nationals -- will be suiting up for the Salt River Rafters. Former D-Backs and San Francisco Giants slugger Matt Williams will be at the helm for the Rafters, who won the league in 2011 behind reigning AFL MVP Nolan Arenado.
