PrintHas there ever been an effort by Rockies fans to remove Dinger from behind home-plate during the late innings? I was watching some old highlights in anticipation of the upcoming season and every highlight has a f****** purple dinosaur prancing around in the background. Not to mention it is a bush league and baffling action for a major league team. I know a lot of people feel the same way, any ideas for how to get rid of this abomination?

2 today, 1 tomorrow is how many days remain until Pitchers and Catchers report for Spring Training. Self taught and falling in love with this game is very easy to do, you can never hate it, and that is something that not one person can take away from anybody. The love of baseball and OUR COLORADO ROCKIES. Can't wait until fantasy starts also. This will be the 4th year for my team. The Blake St. Bombers.
The actual historical
significance of the mascot is when they were digging out the ground for the stadium they found dinosaur bones on the site.

Mascots are there for the kids.
If I had a pitcher who could actually be distracted by dinger wiggling his finger I’d cut him before he finished saying “It’s that damn purple dinosaur who’s throwing off my slider!”

For what it’s worth, I hate Dinger with the fire of a thousand suns. I just find the “We have legitimate reasons why Dinger is a hindrance to the baseball game! It’s cheating!” to be absolute curdled BS.
