Time to take predictions, Rowbots!
Which one of these fine NRI’s will become Jim Tracy’s Inexplicable Mancrush, 2012 version?
I’m sure we all remember the fun times we had with Alfredo Amezaga and Eliezer Alfonzo last year. Who is this year’s model going to be?
Aside from Chad Tracy, of course. I’m sure Jim loves his son.
Besides Tracy
I’d suspect Moyer and Brandon Wood have the inside track.

Looking at the two names from last season
I can only hope that the code for “Jim Tracy’s Inexplicable Mancrush” is players who have a last name begining with “A”. If that’s the case, Tracy’s Mancrush from that list can only be Nolan Arenado.
Although baseball is full of teams suffering setbacks, it’s also full teams overcoming them. All I ask is for the Rockies to be defined by the latter category.

Amusingly, Alfonzo wasn't even a NRI last season and Amezaga was hurt through most of ST.
Last year’s Spring crushes were mostly Ben Paulsen and Jordan Pacheco.

Although Pacheco was on the roster by that point.

The five players from this list I'm most excited to track this Spring are
1) Nolan Arenado
2) Chad Bettis
3) Tim Wheeler
4) Kent Matthes
5) Joe Gardner
Other rowbot’s top five?

Scahill instead of Matthes for me
Otherwise same here
I can see this
I chose Matthes because I’m VERY interested to see if he’s a late blooming star or just a guy who can’t walk much and was taking advantage of players younger than him at a lower level. With all the injuries he’s had, he’s a tough guy to pin down.

Scahill should be in there somewhere.
And I’m more excited for Bettis than Arenado, personally.
