I like cover songs. How about you? I mean, I like original songs too, but hearing a new band's take on an old song is always neat to listen to.

I feel like with cover songs you have to keep the spirit of the original song. Sort of. It's kind of an homage.

For the record, I don't count every Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan song from the 60s that was re-recorded by some other flavor of the week band.
