I recently had the chance to sit down and talk with Tulsa Drillers first baseman Kiel Roling. In his second stint with the Drillers, Roling entered Monday's game against Northwest Arkansas batting .253 with five homers and 14 RBIs.
Roling is in his second stint at Double-A Tulsa, having spent the 2010 season with the Drillers before being sent to High-A Modesto. Being sent down prior to the 2011 campaign has given Roling a new outlook on baseball.
