Could someone please give me a logical explanation on why the Colorado Rockies didn't go after an available Roy Oswalt? The NL West Leading Dodgers were looking at him. The AL West Leading Rangers got him. So was he just not capable of fitting into the ever stellar bottom of the NL West Rockies rotation? Dan O'Dowd again proved to me why he is incapable of leading this franchise to anything more than a perennial .500 club. Maybe it starts with the Monforts, and that they love to bring in untested and weak at best prospect pitchers. They sure have not shown that they want to bring in a proven winner looking for a home and a proven winner to shore up a very weak rotation. Our solutions to this rotation in the off-season was Jeremy Guthrie and Jamie Moyers, please someone calm me with my excitement for that! Again if someone could please give me a good and logical reason on why we didn't pursue Oswalt I am all ears. Cause right now at 12.5 games out of first in a very weak division I have major concern with my GM's ability to get this club into the winning ways every Rockie fan deserves.
