The Rockies need to win today to avoid being swept in their second straight home interleague series (which would make them 0-6 this season in an area where they've been good over the past five or six years). They'll send their best starter out today in Friedrich, but he'll need to pitch better at Coors Field than he has in his previous couple of home starts. He'll face Ervin Santana, who is struggling with his command (his BB/9 rate of 4.1 is the highest of his career) and has given up a league-leading 16 homers. The Rockies hit five yesterday, so hopefully they can lift a few more out of the park and actually have some runners on base this time.
