The Rockies are in position to sweep the San Francisco Giants in a pivotal September series at Coors Field. After winning yesterday over Ryan Vogelsong, the Rockies pit their promising young 24-year-old right-hander Jhoulys Chacin against the Giants' blossoming 23-year-old left-hander Madison Bumgarner. Then tomorrow, the Rockies get a struggling Tim Lincecum, faced by the Rockies' winningest starting pitcher this season.
With just three weeks left in the season, a series sweep could have major playoff implications, just not for the Rockies. Still, you just have to defeat that face.
