The Denver Nuggets look to continue their upward trend in the Western Conference tonight with the Sacramento Kings coming to town. Denver have enjoyed a solid January so far, going 9-3 with the stated goal from head coach George Karl being a 10 win month. With 3 game left on the docket, the Nuggets could be looking at a 12 win month after middling around.500 for the first two months of the season.
The Kings bring little intrigue into the game, as they have yet to find any consistency this year. They currently sit at 16-28 and are the third worst team in the Western Conference. The Kings have gone 5-9 in the month of January and have lost 4 of their last 5 games.
As we have seen so far this year, the Nuggets have had lapses against teams they should beat, especially at home (home loses to the Timberwolves and Wizards come to mind. But if the Nuggets play to the level they are capable of, This should be a fun game to watch for Nuggets fans
