The US Men's National Team plays our northern neighbor Canada in a friendly tonight at Houston Dynamo's BBVA Compass stadium. Kickoff is scheduled to begin at 7 PM Mountain on ESPN2 and Univision Deportes. Team USA is coming off a first place finish in group play for CONCACAF qualifying and tonight's friendly will give younger players a chance to shine before next week's Hexagonal matchup in Honduras on February 6th.

Coming off their own version of ‘spring training', the USMNT players have been training in Los Angeles under the watchful eye of coach Jurgen Klinsmann. Made up almost entirely of MLS players, this younger group is Team USA's next wave of World Cup players hoping to make an impact in Brazil next year. Chris Wondolowski is a player to watch in this matchup, he lead the MLS in goals scored by a wide margin and has consistently ranked as one of the players with the most shots taken in the league.

Team Canada is looking to make up for a disappointing World Cup qualifying match where they had the chance to advance in CONCACAF only to be embarrassed by Honduras 8-1. The fall-out from the Honduras match included sacking their coach and a turnover in lineup. Canada is fielding their youngest roster since 2006 and on Saturday lost a friendly to Denmark 4-0.

Founded in 1913, this is the 100th anniversary for Team USA soccer. Since 1985 the USMNT has been undefeated against Canada with a record of 8-0-7.
