Game Thread: Colorado Rockies at Chicago White Sox

Lefty Drew Pomeranz gets the start for the Rockies today against the Chicago White Sox. - Rich Pilling

After being stifled by Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers yesterday, the Colorado Rockies are off to Glendale, Ariz. to take on the Chicago White Sox.

Two pitchers battling for a rotation spot will take the mound for the Rockies, with southpaw Drew Pomeranz getting the start followed by righty Chris Volstad. The White Sox will counter with lefty Chris Sale, who recently received a significant contract extension.

First baseman Todd Helton will be making his second start of the spring in a Rockies lineup that also includes Troy Tulowitzki, Nolan Arenado and an appearance in center field for Tyler Colvin. Chicago's lineup will feature the left-right combo of Adam Dunn and Paul Konerko in the middle of the order.
