The Mets and Rockies will not be playing baseball tonight as a spring snowstorm has invaded Denver. Shortly after 4:00 p.m. local time, the Rockies made the announcement.

Snow has already started accumulating throughout much of the downtown area and several more inches are expected to fall this evening and overnight. Unfortunately, the forecast for both tomorrow and Wednesday does not look much better.
The Mets have already lost one game on this road trip in Minnesota due to adverse weather and there's a good chance they could lose at least one more here. This is New York's only scheduled trip to Colorado this season so Major League baseball is going to do everything it can to get these games in, but the clubs do share six off days between now and the All Star Break (May 2nd, May 6th, May 23rd, June 10th, June 24th and June 27th). A quick glance at both schedules seems to indicate that May 6th and June 27th are the most practical pre All Star Break options to make these game up if it comes to that point, but that's pure speculation on my part as of now.
The scheduled pitching matchups are currently as follows.
