Sitting down with Tulsa Drillers outfielder Kent Matthes

I recently had the chance to sit down with Kent Matthes, an outfielder with the Tulsa Drillers.

Stats and Notes on Matthes

** In his second season at Double-A Tulsa, Matthes is hitting .283 with four homers and 15 RBIs through 32 games.

** He was the 2011 California League MVP after a banner year that saw him hit 23 homers and post 95 RBIs for Class A Modesto.

** After suffering an oblique injury during the 2012 season with Tulsa, Matthes led the Salt River Rafters in the 2012 Arizona Fall League with five homers and 18 RBIs in 22 games.
