On May 2, the Colorado Rockies agreed to a minor-league deal with three-time All-Star pitcher Roy Oswalt. On May 24, Oswalt made his debut in the Rockies organization by taking the mound for Double-A Tulsa.
Starting against Midland, Oswalt gave up three runs on four hits in five innings pitched. He walked three, struck out three, and surrendered two solo home runs during his 73-pitch outing.
The 35-year-old Oswalt has a career record of 163-96. He's also 4-0 with a 2.25 ERA at Coors Field.
