I write this not to troll, beat down on the Rockies, or be a douche. I write this because I want to get a feel from the rest of my Row buds/gals as to if this is the lowest point of the Rockies franchise.
The past few years, for the most part, have been absolutely unbearable. We've had fun moments. Cargo's walk off home run for the cycle, Tulo smashing four homers in one series in NY, Cargo mashing three homers (along with Tulo's two) in Cincy, and the gold glove artist Nolan Arenado. I love the Rockies, which is why I get so frustrated with them, especially when the offense performs like this (and the pitching is dominating).
I do think that after the build up of the past few years, the fast start of this year, and the complete collapse (we're still only five out, so it's not all over!) of this year, so far, that this is indeed the lowest point I've ever seen the team. The players look defeated (Ottavino having his head bowed down, players smashing bats and helmets, etc.), the coaches look dead, and the crowd has started to pour down boos on our team, which is a very rare site in LoDo. It's a horrible situation right now (first world problems) and I want to have all you girls and guys opinions'.
Also: SDCat09, please forgive me for being a pathetic sack of negativity.
