Troy Tulowitzki and Wilin Rosario homered and Jorge De La Rosa had another solid outing on the mound as Colorado evened the series in Philadelphia.

The Rockies built a big lead early and Jorge De La Rosa made it stand up as they snapped their three-game losing streak with a 5-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Todd Helton's 40th birthday.

Colorado's offense got to Phillies starter Tyler Cloyd early.  With DJ LeMahieu on first and one out, Troy Tulowitzki launched his 22nd home run deep into the left field stands, giving the Rockies a 2-0 lead. That was followed by Michael Cuddyer doubling, advancing to third on Helton's ground out and scoring on a wild pitch to give the Rockies a 3-0 lead as De La Rosa took the mound for the first inning.

The Rockies extended the lead in the second inning when Charlie Blackmon doubled and scored on Dexter Fowler's single to make it 4-0 after two innings. Wilin Rosario's 18th homer of the season, a solo shot to straight-away center, extended the lead to 5-0 in the third.

The Philies battled back in the bottom of the third. John Mayberry singled and Jimmy Rollins walked to put men on first and second with one out before Helton committed his first error of the season on Carlos Ruiz's ground ball, allowing Mayberry to score to cut the lead to 5-1. An RBI single by Chase Utley and a sacrifice fly from Domonic Brown cut the lead  further to 5-3.

After Utley's single, De La Rosa retired twelve men in a row and did not allow another hit until Cody Asche's infield single with one out in the seventh that Troy Tulowitzki nearly turned into a brilliant web gem. He then walked the next hitter, Mayberry, before being pulled from the game after allowing three runs, two earned in 6 1/3 innings, walking three and striking out three. Matt Belisle and Rex Brothers provided the bridge to Rafael Betancourt, who retired the Phillies in order in the ninth to earn his 16th save.

The Rockies and Phillies will play the third of their four-game set tomorrow night, with Juan Nicasio (7-6, 4.94) facing Cliff Lee (10-6, 3.19) at 5:05 MDT.
