Major League Baseball released the tentative schedule for the 2014 season on Tuesday. The Colorado Rockies will begin the year with a four-game set in Miami against the Marlins before hosting the Arizona Diamondbacks in a weekend series at Coors Field in Denver.
The Rockies jump into interleague play early when the Chicago White Sox come to town April 7-9. Colorado receives its first day off on April 10 before resuming play on the road against the San Francisco Giants.
Colorado will have interleague series against the White Sox, Minnesota Twins, Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers at home. The Rox will travel to face the Cleveland Indians and Detroit Tigers, along with road series against the Royals and Rangers.
The Rox will play four-game sets against the D-Backs, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds at Coors Field. They'll have extended trips on the road against the Marlins, Giants, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, and Chicago Cubs.
Colorado closes next season with a three-game series Sept. 26-28, 2014, in L.A. against the Dodgers. The Rockies' final home game of 2014 is on Sunday, Sept. 21 against the D-Backs.
