De La Rosa looks for 17th win as the Rockies try to snap a four-game losing streak.

With the team having lost four straight games, Jorge De La Rosa will once again be asked to play the role of the stopper on the mound for the Rockies tonight against the San Francisco Giants.

The Rockies, who sit at 66-79 overall, are 20-9 in De La Rosa's 29 starts this season, meaning they are just 46-70 when anyone else pitches. De La Rosa has earned the win in 16 of those 20 victories, matching his career high and Adam Wainwright and Jordan Zimmermann for the NL lead in wins in 2013. He has also posted a career-best 3.31 ERA. De La Rosa has won 6 straight starts, with his ERA at exactly his season number of 3.31 over that span.

His opponent on the mound will be the Giants' Ryan Vogelsong, who has missed a significant portion of the season with injury. After mostly excellent seasons with the Giants in 2011 and 2012, Vogelsong has reverted more to his pre-Japan form with a 5.62 ERA in 15 starts in 2013. In his last start, he allowed 4 runs in 4 2/3 innings to Arizona in a 4-2 Giants loss.

The Rockies lineup sees the return of Wilin Rosario and Todd Helton, who both had a day off yesterday. Rosario will bat fifth and Helton sixth, with Nolan Arenado dropping to the seventh spot in the order. Other than that, the Colorado lineup remains unchanged from yesterday.

The top six in the Giants batting order looks very similar to last night, with the only change being Hunter Pence and Pablo Sandoval flip-flopping their spots in the order. Right-handed hitters Joaquin Arias and Juan Perez enter the seventh and eighth slots, respectively, against the lefty De La Rosa.
