Olfoagie apologizes for his enforced absence.

I've had a busy summer and early fall so far. I broke up with Foagette. Alcohol was more important than I was. My wallet disappeared simultaneously ; mysteriously. After getting a few shots in at ElCharrito with BK, RMN, RF4E and DC ;I went to an appointment to sell some Asea at another bar and some how got stuck between two silly witches fighting over some guy. One of them probably fried my laptop when she tossed a beer at her antagonist and missed. You can guess where most of the beer landed! If that wasn't enough; her target circled around her and next thing I know I'm wearing both of them and my laptop is totaled on the floor. NOT GOOD! I did press charges and made a small claims court claim against the both of them. On top of that it cost me the sale :-( !

Ok ; I still have my ancient desk top I use as a back up. The hard drive dies and my tech friend tells me the power supply is shot and the mother board is damaged as a result. As I'm currently walletless; I can't get any money out of either my accounts for my day trading or Asea business to replace either computers. GRRR! My pay is what I live on and it isn't that much. I start saving pennies . I was born in NYC. I haven't had to get a new ID in so long that the state and social security both want a certified copy of my birth certificate. Since 911 New York won't release one to an individual ; only a state agency. Unfortunately Colorado state agencies are prohibited by law from asking for one. I search my old files. My old birth certificate and DD 214 have crumbled to dust. The VA was surprisingly fast getting me a replacement copy of my DD 214. They want more than that to replace my VA ID Hmmmm! Work has been a little overwhelming lately too.

So what has this had to do with the Rockies you ask? I've still been following their news and trying to keep up with PR and all of you. I miss talking to all of you. I wish all of you well. BTW Pip? I've been where you are at with the Rockies right now. I sat out all of CBS's ownership of the Yankees. When I was in the Navy; baseball was hard to follow as most of the sports coverage you heard was about football/ basketball. Keep a little part of you still in the game. When you meet that special someone it may be one of the glues that keep yourselves together. Ask RtC the AWE she feels when the light goes on in the closet and one of her kids starts to get it. Destro will tell you it's one of the greatest feelings in the world!
