The Colorado Rockies got walloped, whomped, whipped, and whooped on Tuesday night to the tune of a 10-2 loss to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim California of America.
The game was lost before it began, or so it felt, when the Angels started things by having every guy take turns at hitting a home run. Okay, not everyone, but home runs were had by Albert Pujols, Mike Trout, Matt Joyce, and Chris Ianetta, all off of Chad Bettis in the first three innings.
And just like that the Rockies were down 10-0 and the game was over.
The Rox got some token runs, including an RBI hit for all-star game hopeful Troy Tulowitzki and a solo home run from Drew Stubbs.
