Colorado Rockies reliever Adam Ottavino rejoined the team after nearly three weeks on a minor league rehab assingnment as part of his recovery from Tommy John surgery, and could be activated as early as today. The right-hander is ahead of schedule in his rehab after strong outings Friday and Saturday with Triple-A Albuquerque and talked with Nick Groke about his pending return to the big leagues.

Chris Jackson (aka TopesWriter) made his Purple Row debut last night, covering outfielder David Dahl’s debut for Triple-A Albuquerque. Dahl, No. 2 on the most recent PuRPs list, was 3-for-5 in his first game with the Isotopes with a home run and an RBI single in Albuqerque’s 7-2 victory over El Paso.
