Tulo spotted at Yankees game (via @nickgroke)

In Philadelphia visiting a specialist about his injured hip, Troy Tulowitzki, with trade rumors swirling, took time Sunday afternoon to check out the Blue Jays-Yankees game at Yankee Stadium, likely to see his boyhood idol Derek Jeter play one last time.

Rockies spell Tulo's name wrong on shirsey, plan another giveaway

Does the blame go all the way to the top?

UPDATE: The Rockies released a statement on this unfortunate incident:

Our sincere apologies to the fans for the misspelling of the Troy Tulowitzki King Soopers jersey that was distributed tonight.

Acknowledging that many fans came to the game for the jersey, rather than disappoint them, we decided to go ahead and hand them out.

We have made plans to reproduce the jersey and fans wishing to exchange will be able to do so at a future date (TBD) in September at Coors Field or the Rockies Dugout Stores. In addition, fans exchanging the jersey will receive a complimentary ticket to a future game in 2014 or 2015.

Rockies' Brandon Barnes, Nationals' Aaron Barrett in pregame standoff

The Rockies can't even win a standoff :( -- though they currently lead the Nats in the sixth inning.

"Something is the problem, I don't know what it is, but it definitely isn't those guys"

The complaints come from everywhere now: the comma would like Dick Monfort to stop misusing it, as well.

Dick Monfort is grumpy

That's Ownership 101 right there! Shoot, I guess I should start responding that way to my critics: "If content that bad don't read!" "If resume that bad don't hire!" "If watching baseball that bad don't marry!"

Leaked: 10 Months Of The Houston Astros' Internal Trade Talks

Deadspin has given the Internet pieces from multiple trade talks the Astros have had with other teams over the last year or so. Included is additional information on how the Dexter Fowler trade came to fruition, including the Rockies' original offer of Fowler and Rafael Ortega for Jarred Cosart and Brandon Barnes -- a deal Colorado fans probably would have liked a bit better than the one that eventually happened. Check it out.

First-round talents model their game after Rockies stars
