Tigers/White Sox makeup slated for Monday afternoon, if needed

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The makeup of a rained out game between the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox is scheduled for Monday afternoon in Chicago if the game is necessary.
The game will take place at 2:05 p.m. (et) in Chicago if one-half game still separates the White Sox and the Minnesota Twins in the AL Central race after play Sunday. The Twins just swept a three-game series in Minnesota between the clubs, and are one-half game ahead of the White Sox.
Chicago is hosting the Cleveland Indians for a three-game series this weekend, while the Twins are hosting the Kansas City Royals. If the result of the makeup game on Monday puts the White Sox and Twins in a tie for first, a tiebreaker game will be held in Chicago on Tuesday to determine the AL Central champion.
If either club leads in the division by more than one-half game after Sunday, then the game will not be needed.
