Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Texans activated cornerback Dunta Robinson from the physically unable to perform list on Friday.
Robinson was rehabilitating a right knee injury that he sustained at a game in Oakland on November 4, 2007. He was subsequently placed on injured reserve on November 13 and missed the final seven games of the season.
The South Carolina product finished last season with 34 tackles and two interceptions.
Originally selected 10th overall by Houston in the 2004 draft, the 5-10, 185- pound Robinson had started all 57 games of his career before the injury.
To make room for Robinson on the roster, the team placed running back Chris Taylor on injured reserve with a quad injury. On the season, he appeared in three games and had 14 carries for 37 yards.
