Astros announce coaching staff

Houston, TX (Sports Network) - The Houston Astros announced their coaching staff for 2009 on Wednesday, naming Ed Romero bench coach and Dave Clark third base coach.
Returning to manager Cecil Cooper's staff are hitting coach Sean Berry, pitching coach Dewey Robinson, first base coach Jose Cruz and bullpen coach Mark Bailey.
Romero was the club's third base coach last season, and assumed the bench coach role after Jackie Moore left for a bench coach position with the Texas Rangers.
Clark, who was the manager for Triple-A Round Rock in 2008, slides over to take Romero's old position.
Cooper will enter his second full season and his third year overall with a 101-91 record as the Astros skipper.
