Colorado Rockies: 2007 National League Champions
This incredible season just got a flag to fly over Coors forever. We are one more crowning achievement away from the ultimate prize, four wins away from a parade through downtown Denver.

You have won me over.
Guys. Im gay for you.
Oooh, how many articles
never should have ended the media silence
Wow
WHY IS CHARLIE MONFORT DRUNK AND ON NATIONAL TV
This is the second time he's been clearly drunk in post game interviews.
Unacceptbale.
Let's be honest

And one day
Did they give it
Good call, I think. Without that big blow tonight, we lose, and the series is looking pretty damn different.

Yep, Matt's the NLCS MVP.
Seriously
Sort of like Cecil and Prince Fielder but without the hostility and alienation and dysfunction.
OK, maybe Ken Griffey Jr. would be a much better comparison.
As always
Maybe I will come back in the WORLD SERIES, to spread more good luck to you guys! :P
Night
Just put ESPN2 on.
What a night...
Hmmm...

Oops
Not during a winning streak, that's for sure.

Three people noticeably absent
Sure, there are several guys that are outstanding in this organization, but these three stand out the most. Geivett and Schmidt completely turned around this farm system and Schmidt's ability to find talent in the middle rounds directly lead to this Championship caliber roster.
Fernandez, in my opinion, is the best in the business when it comes to winning in Latin America. Just in tonight's game, we wouldn't have won without a 21 year old throwing four solid innings, and a fearless closer cleaning up an eighth inning mess and slamming the door in the ninth. Fernandez is due a big raise this year, he's simply invaluable.
Also, props to Marc Gustafson as well, his hand in player development will help give us moments like this for some time over the next several seasons.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I love Spilly's interviews of his teammates on FSN
Bloody sock
Both Spilly and Tulo have that stereotypical California kid vibe and personality to them.
HOW DID I MISS THAT?
I would LOVE to see all the post game remarks I missed because I went to bed.
hell yeah

Rough next season
Fantastic
I might end up with two horses in the World Series... a prospect I never really thought would realistically happen. This should be interesting.
Go Crazy!!!!
Congrats on your first NL Pennent and on a great season so far!
Go crazy! Times like these don't come very often, so enjoy it while you have it!
I'll be rooting for you guys in the Series.
Good night and God bless.
Signed,
A Diehard Braves Fan.

I never thought I'd live to see this
All those years and thousands of hours of bad baseball? All the energy I poured into this team -- as I moved from one coast of the country to the other -- and the grief I suffered?
It was all worth it.

Just back from the game
My throat is raw, my palms are numb, my left rotator cuff a shambles after a night spent waving a towel... but it's worth it. 14 years of loving this team... worth it.
We're going to the World Series.
15, not 14
And

unbelievable
Congratulations Rockies!

Nice artist's impression of the pennant over Coors
Of course, the Rockies' sweep still hasn't convinced me that run differential means jack.
i dont care we won

It doesn't matter- aren't we going to see a Cubs-Yankees World Series this year anyway?
