Scouting Report / Bio: A rare hard-throwing southpaw, Durden is an intriguing prospect who may be destined for a relief role down the line.  Durden's fastball tops out in the mid-90s, but he typically has better control when throwing at lower speeds.  He gets a sharp break on his slider and curveball, which are both considered quality out-pitches.  He's very raw and needs further refinement at lower levels.

Future Outlook: Might be best suited for the bullpen, but will remain a starter for now.
