Around SBN: 2012 Budweiser Shootout Entry List Released

Welcome Mile High Hockey!

Until recently SBN had no hockey coverage, but that changed a couple weeks ago when Die By The Blade, a Sabres blog, went green. Today the second one went active:

Don't know how many of you are Avs fans, or even hockey fans, but I know of at least three others here besides myself.

I'm sure I'll contribute here and there.
Avs are number two for me.  Yep, that's right, AHEAD of the Broncos.

Although I'm a hockey fan in general
who doesn't usually pull for a particular team... I'll definately be checking this out.

I'll Try Not To Disappoint
Thanks so much for the plug, Russ!

And I welcome any and all Avalanche fans into the fold.  Create an account today at Mile High Hockey!

Another blog
I'll have to join!  Do you post on any of the other Av's boards, like hockey's future or the Av's parent side board?  I just read those and am curious if you have connections to those as well.

Not really
I try to stay away from the most popular Avs message boards because they seem to be populated almost entirely by illiterate 15 year-olds (no offense to anyone, of course).  I do periodically post on the Avalanche.com board as "DearLordStanley" but only rarely and often with much regret.

Good points
the Hockey's Future board has a few pretty knowledgeable people (including Adrian Dater) but you do have to wade through quite a bit of trash.

That's awesome
I was hoping for an Avs blog sometime soon. Can't wait to read it.

Woot!! The Avs are also my second favorite
professional team. I should really try to check my e-mail sometime so I can be on top of things like this. I'll be over there a lot too once I'm settled.

I've known about the site for
a few weeks, checking every day to see when it went live.
