I visited a bunch of Spring Training for the website stadiumjourney.com this year, and the Rockies were one of those teams. Check out my review and suggestions, and add your own too!
Hello Everyone! My name is Calder Cahill and I've recently been selected as a Top 50 finalist to the MLB Fan Cave. If you're not familiar, the Fan Cave allows me to watch every baseball game this season in New York City and represent the ROCKIES on a national level -- something I do anyway on my couch at home, only now it won't be as socially frowned upon. If you can all help by clicking the link and voting for me (as many times as you want), that would be super appreciated. Thanks Purple Row fans!!! Calder C

Tonight I have the extreme pleasure of being joined for the entire show by my friend Reuben Mills. We talked about the possibility of Peyton Manning joining the Denver Broncos, Ryan Braun, Manny Ramirez and the steroid problems in baseball and then we shifted to a preview of the Colorado Rockies….it was a fun hour!
The 2011 season was a disappointing one for Rockies fans. The Colorado baseball club started the 2011 campaign with an 18-10 start, giving fans early playoff hopes as the squad appeared to be building off of the 83-79 winning season of 2010. Unfortunately, game 19 started a four game losing streak, and it was pretty much down hill from there. The Rockies finished the 2011 season in fourth place in the NL West with a 73-89 record.
A few years ago as part of Purple Row Cares we donated funds to the Mike Coolbaugh Foundation and this year's golf tournament will be held on Friday, November 18th. Anyone interested in participating or donating can follow the link for more information.
