I had the opportunity to shoot photos of the first pitch this evening from on the field and decided to flirt with the players a little bit. Corporan took the bait. Whatta babe. And way to make eye contact with me through a photo lens. :)

44

YoGa will be available for an online chat on Friday, May 1, at 3 2:30 p.m. CT. Go to the link above for more information and to go to the chat. Just in case some of you have been living under a rock, YoGa pitched eight innings on Wednesday and hit the one and only HR, winning the game 1-0 and sweeping the Pirates. The chat was moved up half an hour to accommodate YoGa's busy busy schedule today (you guys should all thank Michael Danes from MLB.com for letting us know). Go check it out, should be funtimes. UPDATE: Here is the transcript.

Gallardo back by September?

12

"Gallardo is already throwing from 45 feet and could be back by September. It's a long shot, but the idea of Gallardo slotting in, perhaps even in the bullpen, is intriguing. It will be difficult to build up his arm strength enough to move him right into the rotation, and the team usually looks to the long term, but Gallardo did heal quickly from his spring knee surgery. There's a chance we'll see him again in 2008, but this is almost completely dependent on whether Sabathia is the difference maker that the Brewers think he is."
