My first post on this blog. I have been a reader for several years- but never commented until now. It seems to me that the Rockies are not utilizing the talent they have - we have many great treasures in the minor leagues that are just sitting there- while the 'chosen' are up and down out of the bigs. I am partial to one guy that I watched in Auburn ,AL while my kids were in college there. Steven Register. I have been watching him the last several years and all his stats seem good enough to be there, but yet he is in AAA for the second year and doesnt seem to have anyone's attention. Does he have something that is contagious? Are the rockies really serious about getting back to the series or just pouting about their 'bad luck' this year?  If the guys that are there cant do the job - let the ones that have been patiently waiting take a shot at it, Or do we need to start looking at the coaching staff?  The Mets did.
