This will be brief.
Asheville lost seven to six, Kyle Wilson and Matt Miller homered. Dragon Lo continued his recent slide, allowing six runs in four and a third.
Modesto won four to three, Jim Miller picked up his eleventh save, Ian Stewart struck out three times and was hitless in four at bats, while the rest of the team all seemed to have timely doubles with runners in scoring position, including one by Matt Macri who had two hits but also K'ed twice. Aaron Marsden pitched well but didn't record the victory.
Tulsa also won, seven to three, Jeff Salazar has a six game hitting streak dating back to first game of Saturday's double header and after his two hits last night (including a double) has seen his AVG rise from .244 to .275 in that span. Watch for more extra base hits as he continues to heat up. Tony Miller also had two hits, Jayson Nix three, and Cory Slavik a hit and a walk to lead the offense, John Asahina pitched a complete game allowing seven hits and a walk but only K'ing two.
Colorado Springs was off.
