When the first time you win more than two games in a row is almost a week into June you know your team is probably having a pretty lousy season. The Rockies now actually have an opportunity to sweep an opponent for the first time in a series this season as well, and the pitching matchup looks okay for us as long as it's the recent Jennings and not the earlier Jennings. Cincinnati really looks like a team on the ropes without Wily Mo Pena, the sweep looks doable giving us a lot of needed momentum as we welcome the best team in the AL next.
The Rockies put Shawn Chacon on the 15 day DL yesterday and said that Byung Hyun Kim will start in his stead against the White Sox on Tuesday, so we know that this winning streak has an upper limit as to how far it will go.
