The Rockies have won their last three series and enter this afternoon's rubbermatch with the Pirates with the chance to make it four in a row. The bullpen's had it rough over the last three days, so a long outing by Francis would be helpful as we have six more games with the Nats and Brewers before the next off day.
Jeff's been up and down all year, which is a fairly typical rookie season performance, but he's been particularly effective at home and during the day, and seeing as this game starts at Coors at noon, Mountain Time, look for another Rox win.
