In case you haven't noticed, I've been a bit preoccupied this weekend and haven't had an opportunity to post much outside of the game threads (don't worry, this week should be much better in that regard). To catch up on all the minor league happenings, I'm just going to post this with some links. Like this one to a Asheville Citizen Times article on Frankie Morales:
Morales had another big game for the Tourists last night to improve his record to seven and four.
Other news, Tri-City is rolling and leads their division in the NWL. Most of the minor league teams wrap up their seasons pretty shortly, so this run for the Dust-Devils is coming at a great time to get them into the playoffs.
Joe Gaetti has reached base by hit or walk in forty-three consecutive games now for Modesto. Tonight Juan Morillo pitches for the Nuts and they are also closing in on locking up a playoff berth, their magic number is five.
Chaz Roe is pitching for Casper today against Ogden, Corey Wimberly isn't playing, but he hasn't stopped hitting, he collected two more last night.
