On August fifth, as we were about to try and sweep the Giants on the road, I mentioned how lucky we were that they had not called up Matt Cain at that point. Well, consider us unlucky at this point, and what's worse, our unluckiest starter now that Shawn Chacon is gone pitches for our side tonight. Will we finally give Kim some run support? Anyway, as far as rookies go, Cain is going to be really good. But luckily he is still just an MLB newbie and some rough patches will occur in his education. Let's hope rough patch number one occurs tonight.
