The Rockies are a game away from being swept at home by the visiting D-backs, but luckily for us - of all the matchups in this series, this one has the most promise for a Rockies win. Aaron Cook has been stellar since he returned from blood clots in his lungs (which were discovered almost one year to the day ago) and the Rockies' offense has taken advantage and backed him in most of his outings. Today we get a weak opponent in Russ Ortiz and the Rockies should finally be able to crack through on the Snakes. We definitely have to see some better focus in the field defensively, and hopefully with Cookie pitching, we'll see some more consistency on the mound as well. Go Rockies!
