Zach Day has pitched in four games with the Rockies. In those four, two of them starts, he has pitched a total of eleven innings, given up twenty hits and seven more walks and eleven runs, including twice on homers the last time out. I am not entirely certain what Day's goal for the last part of 2005 was, but I think it's fairly safe to say it didn't include tanking his professional starting career. Anyway, the good news is the Rockies are continuing in a stretch where they are facing a lot of inexperienced pitching, and we might pull out a win regardless. I'm still hoping the other Zach Day shows up, but patience is wearing thin.
