Game one of the series versus Arizona pits last year's cheap veteran help for the rotation versus this year's not so cheap veteran help for the rotation. Kim's salary of course is one of the last remaining vestiges of the Mike Hampton signing, while Estes parlayed his luck with us into a nice little contract with the Snakes. Right now Kim has gotten himself into some trouble in the first, but he should be the better pitcher tonight. It's at home, so expect a Rockies win.
