Troy Renck of the Denver Post has the story this morning. He says that the Rockies are going to non-tender former top prospect Chin Hui Tsao in the hopes of re-signing him to a minor league contract. Meanwhile, Josh Fogg and Yorvit Torrealba are expected to get deals today. The article also has some thrift store shopping targets the Rox might go after as well as the suitors of Clint, incuding the Brewers who offered Brady Clark. Ringolsby at the Rocky also chimes in on Fogg and Torrealba, at least Fogg indicates he wants to remain in Denver.
Here's the latest out of Houston concerning Jason Jennings, confirming a bit of what I speculated on yesterday:
Last week's deal for Chicago White Sox starter Jon Garland appears dead, but the Astros are having discussions with the Colorado Rockies about righthander Jason Jennings, a Baylor product.
