Tuesday Pebble Report

The only farm team to play last night was Colorado Springs, and the Sky Sox won five to four after a three run eighth inning rally. All the Sky Sox' starters except for Jayson Nix collected at least one hit and Ryan Spillborghs and JD Closser were among the four players to hit safely twice. Mike Esposito pitched five decent innings in his debut, giving up three runs and K'ing five. The two homeruns he allowed are discouraging. Despite the goose egg last night (not including a walk and RBI,) Nix hasn't been bad for the Sky Sox this first week, which is fortunate for him because he's almost out of chances. Speaking of which, his struggling brother is apparently also on the hot seat in Texas.

Tonight, all four affiliates resume play.
