Colorado Springs: Sandy Nin had a great start, going 6 innings and K'ing 8, but he gave up 1 too many runs because the Sky Sox lost 1-0. Nothing worth noting from the offense.

Ian Stewart walked for the 9th time this season, and struck out for the 13th time. Tulowitzki collected 2 more Ks to  reach 15, and has a total of 4 walks this season. Chris Iannetta stole his first base of the season.

Modesto: This was a tight one for the Nuts but a sac bunt by Chris Frey in the 8th gave the team the victory. Corey Wimberly stole his 10th base of the season. Ryan Mattheus lasted for 6 innings, gave up 1 run, and K'ed 7. Daric Merrell picked up the win.
