Colorado Springs: Sunny Kim went 6 innings and K'ed 6. Jayson Nix, Omar Quintanilla, J.D. Closser and Sean Barker all hit doubles yesterday and Barker knocked in 2 and Quintanilla 1 as the Sky Sox won 4-1.
Tulsa: Both game were rained out.
Modesto: The Nuts split the double-header yesterday. In the first game, Samuel Deduno pitched 5 1/3 innings, walked 4 and struck out 6. Of the 6 hits by the Nuts, Justin Nelson managed the only extrabase hit. In the second game, Wimberly picked up his 11th stolen base and 2 more hits. Nelson also hit a homer in the loss. Jarrett Grube made his first start and picked up the loss.
Asheville: Alan Johnson had a second bad outing as he went 6, gave up 7 hits and 5 ER, walked 4 and K'ed 4. The Tourists stuck out 11 more times against Columbus.
