Reds Post Game Revue Delayed due to Austin Kearns "wardrobe malfunction"

[editor's note, by Rox Girl]Rox Girl kind of got into a little tiff with Red Hot Mama and Sister Daedalus at the church of baseball, and who knows where it will end, but early indications are, in a pit of mud, without much dignity left. On to the "news"...

Unfortunately the cabaret following tonight's game featuring members of the Cincinnati Reds has been delayed because Austin Kearns' victorian lace bodice had a tear. The Reds production, "Chicks Dig the Longball" has been a minor hit in other major league cities the team has travelled to this year.

"We are really bummed we won't be able to bring the show to Denver tonight, we've been working hard at it. And Adam really loves wearing the catsuit," Kearns said.

When asked about the unique nature of their show, and whether the Reds were afraid of coming across as less masculine in performing it, left fielder Adam Dunn had this to say: "You know, I really don't think so, I think the fans can see the irony in it, how we're both chicks who supposedly dig the long ball and sluggers who hit the long ball. You know, so it's a way for us to get out some of the stuff we keep pent up during the season.

I'm just really upset the fans in Denver can't see this killer routine Bronson and I do, it's sort of a pseudo-lesbian pastiche thing. It gets really hot."

Kearns nodded his head in agreement.

"When I first saw it, I thought, that's just a little too risque for me, but now I see it more as a symbol of the bond we have as teammates. I think the revue has contributed as much to our hot start as anything else."
