Colorado Springs: The Sky Sox won this one 4-3 with three consecutive innings of scoring. Ryan Shealy hit his 6th double and added 2 RBI for a season total of 27. Omar Quintanilla had only one plate appearance before leaving the game. John Asahina went 5 1/3 and gave up all three runs but came away with the victory. Steve Colyer in 1 2/3 innings K'ed 5 and Scott Dohmann K'ed 3 in his one inning outing. Nate Field picked up his 9th save.

Tulsa: What a tough loss for the Drillers last night. Steven Register went 8 innings, gave up only 1 hit, and 2 runs. Normally that should be enough but 8 hits by the team only resulted in 1 run. Joe Koshansky hit his 12th homer. Chris Iannetta hit his 6th double and Seth Smith his 2nd triple. Tulowitkzi went 0-for-4 in his return to the lineup.

Modesto: Samuel Deduno returned to the Land of Dominant Starters with a 7 inning, 12 K performance. He picked up his 3rd win of the season while scattering 4 hits and allowing no runs. The offense also had some help from the opposing pitcher as John Bannister walked 6 Nuts. Chris Frey added two more walks as a leadoff hitter and his 10th SB. Jonathan Herrera (21), Matt Miller (53), Justin Nelson (23, 24) and Duke Sardinha (28) all contributed in the win.
