I've learned to be leary of automatically predicting wins in contests like this. The Rockies have the favorable pitching matchup, we're coming into tonight on a roll having won the first two games of the series, the curse of Jamey Carroll is in effect and our team should be well prepared here. I see no reason why the Rockies should lose this game, and in fact they should win it, given everything I've already mentioned, but this is exactly the type of game that the Rockies have lost in the past. The mark of winning franchises is in everyday efficiency and regularly dispatching inferior opponents. Every team will have the dramatic wins with the walk off slams over a better opponent once in a while, but the real challenge is going out and taking care of business on nights like this, and doing it like clockwork.
Go Rockies.
