College: Scott Maine picked up the win yesterday against Oregon State in the 11-1 victory. he went 7 innings, allowed 4 hits, walked 2 and K'ed 3. If you click his name and read the article, it mentions that it will be pretty hard for Maine to sign with the Rockies. Jeff Kindel plays later today.

Colorado Springs: Jason Smith and LuGo each had 3 RBI in the 10-4 victory last night. Jeff Salazar had a 4-for-5 night with 1 RBI and his second SB on the season. Jeff Baker recorded his 51st RBI and Kaz collected two more hits in four ABs. Jon Asahina went 6 2/3 innings, allowed 2 R on 6 H and K'ed 5.

Tulsa: The game was suspended because of rain. Play will resume later today and should the Drillers win they'll have clinched the North Division first-half championship. If not, they have the second game to do so.

Modesto: It took extra innings for the Nuts to lose last night 6-4. Michael Davies hit his first homer last night (2-run) and Duke Sardinha hit a double, but all ten of the other hits were for singles. Jonathan Herrera stole his 10th base. Samuel Deduno went 5 innings, allowed 3 R on 7 H and K'ed 7. Darren Clarke blew his 2nd save opportunity and Jake Postlewait fell to 0-3 since his promotion to Modesto as he allowed the two winning runs.

Asheville: The Tourists completed a game that was suspended on June 11th and won 3-1.

In the second game, Zach Simons continues to underwhelm not only his followers, but opposing batters in 6-4 loss. He lasted 4 innings, had 6 runs cross the plate on 7 hits, walked 5, K'ed 2 and allowed 1 HR. Cole Garner hit his 9th homer and it was a 3-run shot.
