Michael Davies hit his first homer last night (2-run) and Duke Sardinha hit a double, but all ten of the other hits were for singles. Jonathan Herrera stole his 10th base. Samuel Deduno went 5 innings, allowed 3 R on 7 H and K'ed 7. Darren Clarke blew his 2nd save opportunity and Jake Postlewait fell to 0-3 since his promotion to Modesto as he allowed the two winning runs.
Asheville: The Tourists completed a game that was suspended on June 11th and won 3-1.
