Tuesday Pebble Report

Luckily the minor league schedule was kind on me last night, so I can spend more time prepping for the draft.

Colorado Springs: The Sky Sox were shut out nine to nothing and managed only two hits last night, so there's really not much good to talk about.

Tulsa: The Texas League took the day off.

Modesto: The Nuts took the night off too.

Asheville: The Tourists played, and won, eight to two. A couple of Asheville players who started strong and then slumped for a month had very positive games. Alan Johnson started and pitched eight innings, giving up only five hits, no walks and striking out five. Travis Becktel went four for five and scored twice. EY Jr went one for three with two walks and another SB, the Tourists stole five bases in all without getting caught.
